Hi, I'm Maitreya Dwaipayan and I am a Software Engineer with a start-up in Bangalore. Since joining here in March 2010 as an Associate Software Engineer I have been learning new things almost everyday. The source has been all different and I have spent a lot of time trying to find them.
So I thought of writing this blog where every tit bits of a technical life will be discussed in a step by step process to help beginners like me to get all valuable tips and tricks at one place.
This blog is mainly concerned about Java/J2EE as programming language, Spring as the framework, MySQL as the database.
Other topics may include JDBC, Hibernate, Manual Testing, Compatibility, Bug Tracking, SVN, etc.
And ofcourse as USERS are the most important factor while designing any application there will be topics on User Experience (UX), Usability (been recently introduced to these and finding them very interesting) Wireframing and Marketing (SEO, networking etc). The blog will also deal with soft skills and other problems faced by a techie in the beginning of his/her careers.
The hurdles I faced may be different from what you face so I would greatly appreciate if you contribute your knowledge here. You can send me your article along with a picture of yours and other details to: dwaipayan.maitreya@gmail.com
Apart from blogging I spend most of my time playing games over LAN like FIFA, Counter Strike, Age of Empires etc ( Bit old school but I love them and playing with roomies over LAN makes it even more fun), reading books (technical and non- technical), following Cricket ( like every other Indian) and watching documentaries over internet or Discovery, NGC etc.
Weekends are PARTY time! ;)
Academically I am a Bachelor of Engineering (B.S. Equivalent) in Electronics and Communication but my interest brought me here.

P.S: The bird at right top corner is connected to my personal twitter account so many of the tweets wont be related to the blog. But I am sure it still will be fun to follow.
